1. Overview
To enhance safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities, strengthen self-rescue and rescue skills in the event of an accident, and improve rapid response, emergency rescue, and collaborative handling capabilities, ensuring that in the event of an emergency, personnel can be evacuated quickly and effectively, hazards can be controlled within the smallest possible range, and losses minimized. The company organized a specialized environmental emergency drill for hazardous waste on April 24, 2026, near the hazardous waste storage area. The drill generally achieved its expected objectives.
Departments involved included the General Department, Production Department, Emergency Response Team, Medical Team, and Environmental Monitoring Team.
2. Scenarios and Procedures
· Flood Prevention Emergency Drill for Hazardous Waste
Scenario: Heavy rainfall during the rainy season poses a risk of water ingress into the hazardous waste storage area, potentially causing waste to soak and leak.
Procedure: Risk warning → information reporting → Emergency activation → Personnel evacuation → Sealing with sandbags/plastic sheeting → Leakage collection → Environmental monitoring
· Hazardous Waste Leakage During Storage/Transfer
Scenario: Spillage and leakage of waste lubricating oil sludge during transportation to storage
Procedure: On-site alert → Reporting by phone → Emergency response activation → Evacuation and cordoning off → Absorption and containment → Collection and disposal → Investigation and evidence collection

3. Objectives
·To test the feasibility of the hazardous waste special emergency response plan
·To improve employees’ emergency response, evacuation, and coordinated handling capabilities
·To ensure proper use of protective equipment, absorbent materials, and emergency sandbags
·To guarantee a rapid and scientific response to sudden environmental incidents and minimize impact

·Rapid emergency response, with command center activation within 3 minutes of alarm
·Orderly evacuation and accurate headcount, with zero casualties
·Standardized operations in leakage control, flood prevention and blocking, and waste collection
·Smooth multi-department coordination and effective implementation of emergency procedures

·Some employees are not fully familiar with procedures and job responsibilities
·Proficiency in using emergency equipment needs improvement
·On-site clearance and order management require further strengthening
